DRAW

Amber Smith, May 15th 2014

 

I am happy to announce that my work will be a part of the first installment of a five-part exhibition series curated and presented by Melbourne Arts Club and Fawn Gallery, entitled DRAW. DRAW IS dedicated to drawing and illustration and aims at showcasing the best drawing talent. I am honoured to be a part of this exhibition and it will be opening on the 16th of May and running until the 29th.

Communication Beyond Words

I am happy to announce that my work will be a part of Communication Beyond Words, a travelling art and design exhibition which aims at promoting creative exchange between cultures with different native languages. The first installment has just shown in the Clement Meadmore Gallery at the Australian Academy of Design in Port Melbourne, and is currently packed-up and in transit to its next installment in Colombia! Very exciting stuff.

The Vanguard Project

The Vanguard Project launched at Lovers Gallery in Fitzroy on the 6th of November. 

 

The Vanguard Project advocates autonomous education, critical thinking, collaboration and interdisciplinary practice. The purpose of the Vanguard Project is to open up dialogue and intellectual exchanges between artists and academics that seek alternative streams of knowledge. It is a conceptual collaboration between artists Simone Mugavin and Amber Smith.
